Bloom Supports: Growing With Our Community
We're proud to be growing our services and team across Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay. This update shares what we've been working on and what participants and families can expect from us in the months ahead.

Growing Across the Region
When we started Bloom Supports, the vision was simple: to be the kind of provider we would want for our own family — one that takes matching seriously, communicates honestly, and stays genuinely invested in the people it supports. That vision hasn't changed. But our capacity to deliver on it has grown.
We're now supporting participants across Gympie, the Sunshine Coast and the Wide Bay region — and we continue to grow our team carefully, with a focus on quality over volume. Every person who joins the Bloom team is hired because they genuinely care about this work, not because we needed to fill a roster.
Investing in Our Team
Our support workers are the most important part of what we do. This year, we've invested significantly in training, supervision and professional development — because we know that a well-supported team delivers better outcomes for the participants they work with.
We've also focused on the kinds of things that reduce support worker turnover: matching workers to participants carefully, maintaining manageable case loads, and building a culture where people feel valued and heard. We know that consistent staffing is one of the most important things we can offer participants and participants and families.
What's Coming
Over the coming months, we're continuing to grow our SIL capacity in the Gympie and Wide Bay regions, expanding our community access services across the Sunshine Coast, and building out our ILO capability to support participants who want a more personalised living arrangement.
We're also working on improvements to how we communicate with families and Support Coordinators — including more consistent updates, clearer escalation pathways and a more structured approach to reviewing participant goals and outcomes.
A Note of Thanks
To the participants who've trusted Bloom Supports with something as important as their daily life — thank you. To the families who've welcomed us into their world — thank you. And to the Support Coordinators and allied health professionals who've referred participants to us — thank you for the trust that represents.
We don't take any of it for granted. Our job is to earn that trust every day, through the quality of our support and the honesty of our communication. We're committed to doing that — and to continuing to improve.
